Research Interest

I study the feedbacks between hydrological and biogeochemical cycles, with a particular focus on the soil environment. In particular, I try to quantify the influence of the water cycle on the carbon sequestration efficiency of natural climate solutions and the capacity of soil bacteria to consume atmospheric hydrogen.
